Shoesaholic Anonymous
My name is Yimbiha and I am a shoeaholic. For the longest time I can remember, I have been a platform heels (which my sister Winnie, refers to as Hooves) kind of girl. The higher they were, the better. The first ever heels I owned were a present from my sister, Sharon. They were these black, white and grey strappy blocked heels. Very high (15cm). Of course at the very beginning I walked like a duck. We all go through that awkward stage where you walk with your knees bent and your torso bent forward, you know the partly duck partly penguin walk. Seeing that you are absorbed in your fabulousness…

Chasing The Sun on a Beautiful Yet Cloudy Autumn Day
Yes, Witek and I literally chased the sun! I am to blame and of course I refuse to take full blame so I’ll shamelessly add that the fact that I live right in the CBD the traffic didn’t help us much 🙂 Also you know how they say you can take the girl out of the village but you sure can’t take the village out of the girl. Well, this villager here having spent a full decade living in Europe, is still a notorious African timer. Basically, I had to postpone the shoot for another hour which led to Witek getting stuck in traffic and by the time he made…

Who’s That Chick
The look on this shoot was inspired by Rihanna’s makeup in her video Who’s that chick, only mine is for the darker skinned and darker haired me (is that gramatically correct?) 🙂 Though, I have to admit, I was tempted to dye my hair red for this shoot. Temporarily of course 😉 Don’t panic. I’m not a bright haired person at all 🙂 Were it not for the wonderful GPS, the road constructions and the heaps of snow (story of my life) I prolly would have made it in time to do more than a beauty shoot 🙂 I finally managed to do one very important thing in this shoot…

Bridal
This shoot was supposed to be a beauty shoot as well as a bridal shoot but well, the designer who was supposed to deliver the dress delivered the wrong one that just wasnt happening for us. So we ended up making it a shoot with three different types of bridal makeup. I currently have only two pictures. I will post the last one once I receive it. 🙂 This looks could also work as a Valentines Day inspiration 🙂 Neutral but preety. Model: Yimbiha Photographer: Marika Masny MUA: Julia Motylińska Designer: Royal Splendor A beauty shot is a headshot similar to a makeup or hair advertisement, with emphasis on…
