London Fashion Week AW18: Day One

    /

2018 was a bit slow in the beginning until I stepped foot in London. With only a few days left on my UK visa you know I had to make the best out of it. What better way than doing what I love best which is Fashion. I attended 25 London Fashion Week  shows this season which I will happily share with you guys. So, Sit back, grab a glass of water, tea or wine and enjoy. Do let me know which designer is your favourite this season in the comment section below. The first show of the day that I attended was by XU ZHI The inspiration for XU…

    Shoesaholic Anonymous

    /

My name is Yimbiha and I am a shoeaholic. For the longest time I can remember, I have been a  platform heels (which my sister Winnie, refers to as Hooves) kind of girl. Of course at the very beginning I walked like a duck. We all go through that awkward stage where you walk with your knees bent and your torso bent forward, you know the partly duck partly penguin walk. Seeing that you are absorbed in your fabulousness…

    Who’s That Chick

    /

The look on this shoot was inspired by Rihanna’s makeup in her video Who’s that chick, only mine is for the darker skinned and darker haired me (is that gramatically correct?) 🙂 Though, I have to admit, I was tempted to dye my hair red for this shoot. Temporarily of course 😉 Don’t panic. I’m not a bright haired person at all 🙂 Were it not for the wonderful GPS, the road constructions and the heaps of snow (story of my life) I prolly would have made it in time to do more than a beauty shoot 🙂 I finally managed to do one very important thing in this shoot…

This shoot was supposed to be a beauty shoot as well as a bridal shoot but well, the designer who was supposed to deliver the dress delivered the wrong one that just wasnt happening for us. So we ended up making it a shoot with three different types of bridal makeup. I currently have only two pictures. I will post the last one once I receive it. 🙂 This looks could also work as a Valentines Day inspiration 🙂 Neutral but preety. Model: Yimbiha Photographer: Marika Masny MUA: Julia Motylińska Designer: Royal Splendor   A beauty shot is a headshot similar to a makeup or hair advertisement, with emphasis on…
